I apologize for the 2025-26 Panini Select La Liga review coming a little late. It was a combination of Panini not releasing the checklist and me having friends visiting all week. This year’s release did not get a ton of fanfare because it released around 2025-26 Topps Chrome UEFA. Last year was similar except it released the same day as Chrome not just the presale. If you have opened Panini Select soccer card products the last couple of years, then you are already familiar with this year’s product as it has a pretty similar makeup. I would suggest reading the 2022-23 Select La Liga review as it goes more into the product breakdown if you aren’t familiar. The print runs have gone up so the numbers aren’t exactly the same. The case hit numbers for 2025-26 will be in the review below. You can also look at this article I did about Lamine Yamal Select Rookie Cards. Take a look at the review and see what you can expect for the 2025-26 release.

2025-26 Panini Select La Liga Breakdown

Checklist – HERE
Box Makeup – Hobby (Search On Ebay) – 3 Autos OR patches, 5 #’d cards
Print Run – ~1625 hobby cases.
SoccerCardsHQ Review – Panini upped the 2025-26 Panini Select La Liga hobby box print run 30% compared to 2024-25 Panini Select La Liga. Last year they only went up 25% compared to 2023-24 Panini Select La Liga. Even at 1650 hobby cases it is still pretty reasonable. Even the case hits are much more short print than most other soccer cards sets. You can see a good display of that in the Lionel Messi Case Hit Guide I put out last month.
The same 4 case hits are back this year. They have been the same ever since Panini reintroduced Select as a standalone product in 2022-23. Stained Glass (Search On Ebay) is always the most popular and the shortest print. There will be ~55 of them this year. I like the design of the Stained Glass this year better than last. There are only active players in the Stained Glass checklist this year and all the big active players are in the checklist. Panini did a good job in getting a few more teams involved this year which I think is good when trying to grow the hobby. Artistic Impressions (Search On Ebay) and Visionary (Search On Ebay) will both have a print run of ~65. The Artistic Impressions design changed up a lot from past iterations. I liked the older more plain designs, but the market never gave them much love so I can see why Panini decided to add a little flare. Visionary always had bold designs, and this year is no different. Team Badges will have a print run of ~81. Again, Panini decided not to do colored parallels on those which seems like an even bigger mistake now that team badge cards are doing very well.

The autograph checklist in 2025-26 Panini Select La Liga marks the return of Lionel Messi autos (Search On Ebay) for Select La Liga. He wasn’t in the product in the past couple of year. He even has a dual with Neymar from their Barcelona days. Messi does not have any cards in the set besides the autos. There are also a Ronaldo (R9) – Vini and a Zinedine Zidane – Mesut Ozil duals as well. Lamine Yamal (Search On Ebay) and Kylian Mbappe (Search On Ebay) have autos in addition to some chaseable legends most of whom we have seen before. Cristiano Ronaldo once again does not have autos. The Autographed Memorabilia checklist is pretty brutal.

Panini released hobby boxes at $330 and they sold out. that is roughly in line with what 2024-25 Panini Select La Liga hobby boxes sell for. I think the products are pretty comparable. 2025-26 has the higher print run but also has Lionel Messi autos which adds a big chase. As of right now neither 2025-26 or 2024-25 had a huge rookie chase. Like most year the set has a ton of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Those teams will be what carries a majority of the breaks. In a set like this be conscience as always if buying loose boxes. There is a decent chance the desirable case hits have been pulled. Good luck if you are getting involved.
