2025-26 Topps Finest UEFA is back for another year. It was released almost a year to the day that 2024-25 Topps Finest UEFA was release so at least Topps was consistent with that. The problem for this year’s edition was that it was released the same week as 2026 Panini Prizm World Cup hobby boxes. It was also release during the World Cup, so it has a lot going against it in the hobby right now. This review is a few days late because of it. Topps and Panini did me no favors by releasing all these products back-to-back during the World Cup when I am either going to games or watching them on TV. 2025-26 Topps Finest UEFA format is a bit different than last year so see what you can expect in the review below.

Print Run – ~10,000 cases

Soccer Cards HQ Review – The first thing that jumps out with 2025-26 Topps Finest UEFA is the 600-card base checklist. It is not 600 different players though as the set is broken into 3 levels (Common, Uncommon, Rare) similar to what soccer card collectors are used to in Panini Select products. We have seen this format in Topps Finest MLS and EPL, but never with 600 total cards. According to AI there are 286 unique players in the base checklist. Don’t blame me if the AI is wrong. The big players like Lamine Yamal (Search On Ebay) and Erling Haaland will get 3 cards each. The big rookies like Max Dowman (Search On Ebay) and Rio Ngumoha will get 3 as well. The players that have 3 base cards will have a total of 1477 numbered parallels which isn’t near as much as Chrome, but it is still plenty. While I understand the heritage of the 3 tiers back to the mid 1990’s in other sports, I don’t like the way it’s done here. That on top of the same colored parallels having different numbered rarity base on the level is confusion I am not sure the soccer card hobby needs. The second thing that jumped out to me was the design. The Finest designs have not been my favorite for the last few years, and this year is not different. That is of course a personal preference. FWIW I do like this year more than last year’s. The color on the Rares this year is at least full bleed.

Some of the staple case hit and inserts are back in 2025-26 Topps Finest UEFA. Prized Footballers has been an insert since the first Topps Finest UEFA back in 2019. The case hit Fusions (Search On Ebay) are back but with a big difference this year. There are only 2 rarities this year. The “base” and a Superfractor 1/1. As someone that has collected Prized Footballer Fusions since the beginning I don’t like this change. That said the design has been going down on the Fusions each year since 2019 and this one is good. I would imagine the Superfractors will look great. The base Fusions will have a print run of ~400. The Man (Search On Ebay) is back as well and is super hard to hit at 1 in 10 cases. The design on these almost has a graffiti background feel to it, but I don’t hate it. There are only Superfractor 1/1s of these as well. There will be ~100 of the base version. Finest Idols (Search On Ebay) is back as well. I have always been a fan of these as I love the full bleed design and they are usually more SP than they get credit for as they aren’t numbered. This year is no different. In this set the Bronze are ~40, Silver ~20 and Gold ~10. The Zlatan Ibrahimovic The Grail #4 (Search On Ebay) in here and unless the odds are wrong there are only ~35 of this one which is lower than others which I would be surprised if true.

Aura (Search On Ebay) makes it’s Finest UEFA debut after being a big hit in other Topps soccer sets. This is another 1 in 10 case hit that only has the base and Superfractos. Since there is a 20 player checklist on the there are only ~50 of each. Healdiners (Search On Ebay) are a 1 in 20 case hit. Even though these are a copy of Panini Prizmania cards, I do like the design on these better. If you are going to make a ridiculous card, you should make it completely ridiculous like Topps did with these. These are another SP that only has base and Superfractors and there will be ~50 of each. UCL Debut Goals are supposedly the rarest of the case hits at roughly 1 in 72 cases if the odds were right. There is some confusion as There is a Thomas Muller on ebay that is Mini Diamond /150. There are no parallels listed on the checklist except for a Superfractor, so I am not sure what is going on with these.  I do want to point out Shadow Play even though it isn’t a case hit because I like the design so much. I wish they would’ve made full bleed parallels on these, but at least they made a Superfractor. The print run on these will be ~12,000 so if you want one you can probably wait a while. There are ~130 of each of the Topps Total Football cards if you are into those.

The auto checklist is very expansive which is to be expected in a 2 autos per box product. There are on-card Marks Of Excellence in the set. The checklist is all legends and as far as MOE go not as high ceiling as most. The dual auto checklist is loaded with great pairings including Lamine Yamal with both Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. There is also a Lionel Messi and Neymar so the Barcelona collectors will be chasing hard in this. Dual Autos will be very hard to hit falling roughly 1 in every 9 cases. Most of the big rookies get autos, but at this point they are adding up with all the sets they are in. Even Max Dowman autos seem plentiful now.

Topps released 2025-26 Topps Finest UEFA at $270 per box and it has stayed in that range. That is about in the range of most premier soccer card hobby boxes right now. If you like the design and autos then you probably don’t mind the price. It’s not a set I like so I would spend my money elsewhere. There are plenty of options right now to choose from. Getting singles, especially the low print ones, may be even better than usual right now as everyone is chasing Prizm. If you are getting involved good luck.
