2025-26 Topps Inception UEFA is back for another year of the single pack premium Topps soccer card product. Inception has turned into a high-end chase product thanks to the number of on-card autos in the set. Booklets are also a big driver in the product although they are pretty easy to search in unopened boxes so unless you are buying direct you probably shouldn’t expect one. 2025-26 Topps Inception UEFA Breakdown
Checklist – HERE
Box Makeup – (Search On Ebay) – 7 cards per pack, 1 pack per box. 1 Auto, 2 numbered parallels. Seems to be 1 on-card auto per 8 box case.
Print Run – ~37000 boxes ~4600 cases
Soccer Cards HQ Review – 2025-26 Topps Inception UEFA has the highest print run of any Inception set with there being 739 #’d parallels of each base card. I guess we should be happy that Topps has left the base checklist at 100 players. The base cards don’t really drive the product despite some people really liking the designs. Clearly not enough people value them. Maybe the whole perception of Inception changes now that there is a NBA version. One interesting thing this year is that Topps introduced a Yellow /150 parallel. Since the 1/1s in Inception are Gold it could cause some funny sweats. The /199 Foil cards also don’t look different enough from the unnumbered base IMO. There is a new Dark Flow (Search On Ebay) insert this year. The best I can tell they are a case hit, and they do have 1/1 parallels available but not everyone is a 1/1 as I have seen stated some places. If they are in fact case hits there will be ~90 of each.
As mentioned before autos and especially on-card autos are a big driver in 2025-26 Topps Inception UEFA. Since being introduced in 2022-23 Topps Inception UEFA Silver Signings are a big chase thanks to not only being on-card, but because they look amazing. This year is no different. The Silver Signings (Search On Ebay) checklist is once again highlighted by Lionel Messi (Search On Ebay). The checklist is very vet heavy but there are a few rookies including Lennart Karl and Rio Ngumoha. There are also Marks Of Excellence on-card autos. That checklist is entirely vets. The Club Crest 1/1 Patch Autos (Search On Ebay) as are back. These cards look amazing, but they are sticker autos. The booklets aren’t as strong as they have been in the past IMO.
As in most soccer card sets the patch relic only cards aren’t all that much of a chase. That said there are some cool cards for Arsenal collectors. There are corner flag and net relic cards from the UCL Women’s Final which of course was won by Arsenal. Way to bring it home ladies. The men tried really hard as well!
As far as I can tell 2025-26 Topps Inception UEFA was not available to the public. Maybe Topps hated how last year’s online release went so much that they just decided to scrap it this year. I have seen boxes for sale from $300 and up. If they were in fact just given to breakers, hobby shops and distributors I would be wary of buying loose boxes since the Booklets are easy to tell and on-card autos seem to be case hits. There are some good rookies in here, but they are the same rookies we have seen tons of cards for at this point. It just feels like a weird setup compared to previous years. That said if you are getting involved, I hope you hit what you are chasing.
